Job Description –Senior Engineer White body
Job responsibilities:
● Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including NPD engineers, quality engineers, and production personnel, to ensure smooth production operations and timely delivery of products
● Lead and participate in process improvement projects to identify and eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance product quality.
● Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and equipment, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
● Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
● Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
● Stay updated with the latest advancements in manufacturing technology, processes, and industry best practices, and implement relevant changes to improve manufacturing processes
● Maintain and drive strong Safety culture within the team and ensure Safe and Healthy work environment for all associates.
● Establish Daily, Weekly and Monthly Objectives for the team, communicate and drive accountable to the results
● People management- Supervision of his area to ensure the targets for Safety – Quality – Delivery – Cost.
● Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of quality materials and components and resolve any supplier-related issues that may affect production.
● Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the manufacturing process.
Required Skills:
● Experience implementing process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
● Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.
● Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
● Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to meet objectives and timelines
● Knowledge of TPM, Kaizen, Kanban, POKA- YOKE is preferable.
● Multiskilling in manufacturing process.
